Aurora is delighted to welcome our newest recruit, Saahim Khan. Saahim is a Trainee Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA)/Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) and will be working alongside experienced RPAs/LPAs to build his expertise and gain the relevant experience to become an RPA and LPA. He will also be looking to gain experience as a Radioactive Waste Adviser (RWA).

Saahim will also be supporting our Site Services Team on projects as well as supporting Aurora’s Research and Development projects, using his analytical skills, to make our services stronger.

Saahim completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Warwick in 2023.  He, like our other recent recruit, Orneste Buitkute, will be enrolled within Aurora’s Trainee Programme, to ensure our trainees gain the relevant technical and practical skills to one day become quaffed radiation protection professionals.

In his spare time, Saahim likes to read books, watch Chelsea lose, and drinking a good gin and tonic.
