The UK Radon Association is hosting a virtual symposium on the 21st October. These events are great for attendees to keep up with the latest information regarding safely controlling radon areas. They are not just aimed at employers but also landlords, residents, and those with basements!

Aurora is delighted that two members of its Team will be contributing to the event.

Glenn’s presentation shares a particular consideration in his radiation protection experiences with the zenith of any work: the risk assessment. The presentation will focus on home workplace radon risk assessments.

Jon has extensive experience in radiation protection across nuclear, medical, industrial, research and military sectors, and particularly in remediation of contaminated land. His presentation will discuss dealing with radon and thoron legacies from historical uses of radium and thorium.
