The programme included a variety of presentations from operators, regulators and contractors. Topics included: an overview of emergency response structure in the UK, the role Local Authorities, the role of the Food Standards Agency and some fascinating case studies.

Aurora presented on its 24/7 emergency call out service, with case studies relating to how we approach unknowns when radioactive material turns up unexpectedly, and various fires involving radioactive material.
