This annual event is very well attended by more than 100 leading clinical based RPAs and RWAs from across the UK on both days. Jill gave a very informative and well received presentation entitled An Introduction to Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) during the RPA update meeting. Aurora’s research scientist, Fearnley Evison, presented to the RWA update session on the work that he has undertaken with Monte Carlo simulation (MCNPx) in determining neutron activation of materials associated with PBT.

The Aurora stand was visible throughout the meeting with a steady stream of interested visitors.
