Radiation Incident Prevention

Staff from Aurora joined 300 delegates from all sectors to discuss latest techniques in preventing incidents involving radioactive material.

For her contribution to the radiation protection community over her time as chairperson of SRP’s Rising Generations Group (RGG), Aurora’s Lindsey Simcox was awarded the SRP Founders’ Medal. This is a fantastic honour and very well deserved.

Glenn Hardcastle, Angela Yeadon, Simon Willis and Craig Morrissey were also present and enjoyed the opportunity to speak with the other delegates, share examples of best practice and catch up with familiar faces.

Congratulations to Aaron Bebington from AWE, who was the winner of the Aurora crossword challenge and won a Bluetooth speaker.
