World Walking

Using the wonderful app ‘World Walking’, Aurora split into two teams, North and South, and started logging their steps on the app. Each team member could add up to 10,000 steps per day to their team’s step total and the first team to ‘walk’ from Land’s End to John O’ Groats won! Additional points were awarded for adding photos from the individual walks:

• Funny sign
• Cute dog
• Edible wild plant
• Interesting bird
• Selfie with member of bubble of socially distant friend

At Aurora we are constantly looking for ways to ensure all our staff stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Working from home, people tend to be less active and miss the social interaction in the office. This game was designed to combat these challenges and bring our team closer together.
