Well, what can we say? The Society for Radiological Protection conference was a lot of fun 😊 – the 2am to 6am fire evacuation was a bit of a downer, but at least we got to witness some unique pyjama choices among the membership.

As well as seeing some familiar faces, and some welcome new ones, the event had many highlights: from learning about radiation protection in Australia and managing radiological emergencies in Italy, to exploring the SRP archive to learn about the origins of the society. Craig Morrissey and Glenn Hardcastle from Aurora delivered a well-received talk on the radiological decommissioning of a large life sciences building in Mill Hill, and we crowned a new Auroropoly champion with a record score!
