Aurora’s Laser Protection Advisers (LPAs), Raj Bunger, Angela Yeadon and Lindsey Simcox, were delighted to provide the presentations for The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) event ‘Non ionising radiation issues – Are lasers safe in the workplace?’ on 21st March 2016 at the University of Reading.

This event provided delegates with an excellent opportunity to refresh their knowledge of laser safety. Aurora’s LPAs provided an interactive presentation with Raj providing an overview of laser safety in the workplace, Angela discussing the legal requirements and Lindsey concluding with a discussion of laser safety control measures and the consequences of not managing laser safety.

The event provided plenty of time for networking and discussion and so it was a great opportunity for the delegates to discuss any laser safety issues with Aurora’s LPAs.
