Neil has 29 years of experience working as a Health Physics Surveyor and is an exceptional site manager and surveyor.
Neil joined Aurora in 2008 as a well-respected Health Physics Surveyor and has become an essential part of the Aurora team bring his vast years of experience and knowledge of health physics to Aurora.
Neil started out life as a Health Physics Surveyor for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) in 1986. Throughout his career at UKAEA Neil provided health physics support to a variety of facilities on the Harwell Nuclear Licenced Site in Oxfordshire.
In 1997 Neil left UKAEA to work for Safeguard International and became their facilities manager at Culham providing storage, processing and incineration solutions for short lived radionuclides.
Since working for Aurora Neil has continued to develop his Health Physics role and has worked on several large decommissioning projects as the principle contractor and site manager. He has expanded his field into university, pharmaceutical and hospital surveying, and decommissioning enabling clients to successfully revoke their radiological permits.

Neil is married to Sue and enjoys house restoration work when not spending time watching his grandson play rugby and granddaughters at cheerleading and dance recitals.
