Office Manager, Laboratory Manager, Health & Safety Officer & Health Physics Surveyor

Emma has been with Aurora for over nine years, and is an integral part of the team helping out with major projects requiring radiological surveying, sampling, remediation and decommissioning.

Emma is the Harwell Office Manager and combines this role with being Aurora’s Health & Safety Officer providing advice to all Aurora staff & sub-contractors on Personnel Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment and COSHH whilst managing the Aurora Laboratory and proving radiochemical analysis of samples and much more.


Emma’s first involvement with radiation protection started in 2005 whilst working for Safeguard International and helping the Collections Department plan and collect sources as part of the Environment Agency School, College & University source amnesty.

Upon joining Aurora In 2007 Emma has continued to develop and has a number of years’ experience working on radiological clearance survey, environmental sampling, radiological decommissioning and remediation projects.

Emma enjoys sports photography and can often be found taking pictures for the Local Bicester football club when she is not out pounding the streets training for her next half or full marathon.
