We are delighted to welcome our newest recruit, Orneste Buitkute, who has joined Aurora.  Orneste will be a Trainee Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA)/Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) and will be working alongside experienced RPAs/LPAs to gain the relevant experience to become an RPA and LPA in time.  Orneste will also be supporting our Site Services Team on projects as well as getting involved in the further development of Aurora’s Training Services.

After completing her Master’s degree In Mathematical Physics at the University of Nottingham in 2019, Orneste then enrolled on a second Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2020.

In her spare time Orneste enjoys exploring nature, reading, swimming, yoga and learning languages.  She currently speaks three languages and is learning French.
