This week Raj Bunger celebrates 20 years at Aurora.  He joined in 2006 from the National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) as a Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA).  He went on to also become a Radioactive Waste Adviser (RWA), Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) and Non-Ionising Radiation (NIR) Specialist.

He has supported hundreds of Clients during his time at Aurora, from small businesses to large organisations across all sectors.

Raj is Aurora’s Managing Director for Marketing and People and is responsible for Aurora’s performance, strategy, marketing and staff development.

On working at Aurora, Raj said “I can’t believe how 20 years have flown.  It almost felt like yesterday when I attended my interview as a newly certificated RPA.  I was asked during the interview ‘what I was looking for in a job’.  I explained that I wanted a job where it felt like I worked for myself and I was in charge of my career.  Aurora has never let me down, the culture of the company has meant that I’ve flourished, been able to develop the way I felt I should, and I’ve always been able to steer my own path.  That and working with amazing people, who genuinely care, has meant that Aurora has been the best fit for me in my career.
