Last week, Aurora said goodbye to Lyn Absolom, who after 16 years has decided to retire.  Lyn joined Aurora in November 2009 as maternity cover and made such an impression on us all  with her dedication and hard work, that we were delighted when she decided to remain with us.

As well as being Auroras Business Manager, Lyn took on HR responsibilities whilst still managing Aurora’s financial activities.  She joined the Management Team, adding valuable insight to aid decision making and carried out line management duties, supporting the Team and helping them flourish.

Seeing Lyn go brings mixed feelings to everyone at Aurora. On one hand we are all excited for the next chapter on her life journey, while at the same time, we will miss her calmness, kindness and friendship.  Aurora will not be the same without her.
