British Medical Laser Association 2021 Virtual Conference
The BMLA Conference is a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, recent advances, and everything else in the field of lasers and light-based devices for all in healthcare who are involved in the use of such devices for improving their patients’ and clients’ health and wellbeing.

Whilst the BMLA has provided high quality, evidence bases, scientific programmes for medical and aesthetic laser enthusiasts year on year, the event always caters for a diverse group of candidates including medics, surgeons, nurses, technicians, aestheticians and scientists.
This year, the BMLA has been joined in hosting the conference by the European Laser Association.
Lindsey Simcox from Aurora will be providing a presentation for the conference that will discuss the Management of Laser Safety during and after COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a number of additional challenges for routine laser safety management.
This presentation aims to highlight the key areas where laser users should consider how their work may be affected going forward, especially where a facility has been shut down for the pandemic and is planning to start laser treatments again. The presentation will give practical advice to help ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and standards.
