The Aurora Team got together for its regular ATM, and it was a bumper event!   The usual pre-ATM dinner was lots of fun and the event itself allowed the team to share stories of the projects they have been working on, as well as personal stories about their year.  The Team was joined by George Mooney (Finance Director for the E&P Division of RSK).

The event also allowed us to celebrate Paddy Copeland’s 20th anniversary of working at Aurora, and Paddy was presented with a Length of Service (LoS) award!

The final part of the day was the Aurora technical session for our technical staff, as well as our trainees. Our regular technical sessions are incredibly valuable as part of Aurora’s commitment to continuous professional development. They are a great opportunity for our team members to share expertise and updates, ensuring the whole team are aware of current issues in the field of radiation protection. During this session we talked about issues arising in recent regulatory inspections, feedback from professional body meetings, and some refresher training on the application of REPPIR (The Radiation [Emergency Preparedness and Public Information] Regulations 2019).   We were delighted to be joined by our colleagues in RSK Radiological as well.

In summary, it was a great day to get the team together!
